Gor Mahia jet out early tomorrow (Tuesday) for Cairo, Egypt from where they will connect to Benghazi, Libya by road via Alexandria for Friday’s international friendly against Libyan giants Al Ahli Tripoli.
During their stop over in Cairo, Gor will be hosted at Radisson Blu Hotel before leaving for Alexandria later in the evening, still by road.
The travelling party consists of 20 players and seven technical bench members.
Two goal hero in Sunday’s Mashemeji derby, Ivorian Gnamien Gislan Yikpe tops the list of the travelling squad. There is also room for Francis Afriyie, Dickson Ambundo amongst others.
“The players are in high spirits after the Mashemeji derby win and we expect them to pull more surprises in Libya,” team manager Jolawi Obondo said.
