Minimal activities are experienced at the hyped Green Park terminus that had been designated for the long distance matatus by the Nairobi Governor Sakaja.
By Tuesday 5pm 17th January 2023 the usual peak for transport business , only seven matatus were spotted at the terminus waiting for the travelers.
The Ksh 250 million terminus can accommodate more than 50 matatus.
The project was initiated during administration of the former president Uhuru Kenyatta under defunct Nairobi Metropolitan Services.
The terminus was intially intended to accommodate public services vehicles plying Ngong Road, however after several trials the implementation failed.
