Urban Hype have done it again.

This time they have teamed up with the fiery 408 Empire duo, Y-Celeb and Ray-Dee, to produce another phenomenal tune called ‘Ruve’.

It’s a brand new track taking you back to the club because, at the end of the day, we all need to let loose a little and let the music take over.

‘Ruve’ is awash in that same energy that has kept Urban Hype’s momentum going. The trio have stuck to their guns and delivered a solid effort that lives up to all the hype.

The song title is borrowed from Zambian slang meaning reverse. The setting is simple, you’re out with your boys and feeling the vibe of the music in the club, you spot that pretty young thing gyrating on the dance floor, enamoured with her moves you ask her to ‘Ruve’ and back it up some more.

Oh cruel death! ‘He was amiable, social and down-to- earth,’ Ex President Moi mourns

The vocals, husky, smooth and rhythmic, on this track blend seamlessly to create the perfect intensity infused with a unique Copper-belt sound. After their last hit ‘Skele’, they are surely keeping Zambians up and on their feet.

Expect big things from Urban Hype this year, they are ready to be heard alongside the massive wave that is taking Afro-beat global.

They have positioned themselves well with 408, an explosive duo, which ensures no one is left behind. From their 2015 Zee Music award winning in the Best Group category and the Born and Bred Award for Best RnB Video category, Urban Hype lads are aiming for gold.

Some of their notable collaborations include big African names such as Nigeria’s Sasha P and Yemi Alade, South Africa’s HHP as well as working alongside Zambia’s JK, Thee Ajay, F Jay and Bad Man Shapi.
