The Kenya women national team, Harambee Starlets, are through to the third round of Olympic Qualifiers.
Starlets sealed a 3-0 victory over Malawi on Sunday, September 1, at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos to complete a 5-3 aggregate victory over the south African nation.

The David Ouma-tutored side who suffered a 3-2 defeat in the first leg of the fixture played Lilongwe were seeking to overturn the deficit to ensure qualification to the next round.
Ouma therefore paraded a strong side for the reverse tie, tasking Mwanalima Adam with the responsibility of hunting goals.
The set up eventually paid off, with Mwanalima striking twice at Machakos to inspire Starlets to a comfortable victory.

Kenya showed attacking intent from the start of the match, opening the lead via Cynthia Shilwatso in the 19th minute with a low left-footed drive as the first half finished 1-0.
The second half of the match saw the visitors finally settle in, but their efforts were dampened after Mwanalima doubling the lead in the 77th minute.
She made it 3-0 in the dying minutes of the match to put the game beyond Malawi.
