Harambee Stars head coach Sebastien Migne has named his provisional African Championship (CHAN) squad that will hit camp on Friday, July 19.

The team will face Tanzania in the first round of the competition and should they progress they will face the winner of the tie between Ethiopia and Djibouti.

Seven players who were part of the African Cup of Nations squad in Egypt have been included in the squad.

The players include John Avire, Bernard Ochieng, Philemon Otieno, Joash Onyango, John Oyemba, Dennis Odhiambo and Paul Were.

AFC Leopards right-back Yusuf Mainge earns his maiden call-up to the senior team, with Ulinzi Stars keeper James Saruni has also earning a place named in the squad.

Th first leg will be played on Sunday, July 28 in Tanzania with the return leg scheduled for Sunday, August 4 in Nairobi.
