National soccer team Harambee Stars left the country Thursday morning ahead of their final group ‘F’ Africa Cup of nations qualifying match against ‘Black Stars’ of Ghana this Saturday in Accra, Ghana.
Head Coach Sébastien Migné has taken pressure off the players’ shoulders, noting that they are looking forward to give a good account of themselves ahead of the Africa cup of nations.
Stars will miss the services of hit man Michael Olunga and speedy winger Ayub Timbe who was expected to return to the side after serving a three-match suspension.
The last time Harambee Stars qualified for the Africa Cup of nation’s finals was way back in 2004 in Tunisia where the team under Head Coach Jacob Ghost Mulee was eliminated at the group stage.
