Hosts Kenya Harlequins RFC will be hoping to reclaim their Christie sevens title they last won three years ago when the 7th and final leg of the national rugby sevens circuit concludes this weekend at RFUEA Grounds, Nairobi.
Harlequins who last lifted the ‘Christie Sevens’ in 2015 and lie 7th in the 19 team standings with 51 points headline group ‘C’ and will battle Impala Saracens, Northern Suburbs and Emerging Uganda Sevens.
Quins stand no chance of winning the overall title which could go with series leaders Homeboyz, or second placed Mwamba and third placed KCB RFC.
Mwamba who lie second with 92 points, eight behind leaders Homeboyz will need to win the Main Cup and hope Homeboyz fails to reach the Cup quarters for them to reclaim the national title for the first time since 2011.
