Opposition leader Raila Odinga says he is fine and in good health after he was hurriedly taken off the stadium by his aides, during a football match in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

A video that has since gone viral showed  Odinga posing with the winning team, Kariobangi Sharks, at the stadium waiting to hand them the trophy. Moments later, he appeared to stumble and was led from the arena by two of his security guards.

Taking to Twitter on Sunday night, Odinga thanked Kenyans and friends from around the globe for their concern saying he is in good health.

According to Odinga’s spokesperson, Dennis Onyango, the opposition chief was led out by guards after the platform he was stepping on began to fall off.
