The dancing nurse, Lukresia Robai who went viral a fortnight ago while doing a musical therapy dance to a sick child has narrated how she was chased away in her first attempt at carrying out a ‘surprise street dance’.
“Kufanyia watu surprise is not easy, you know the first time i went to do a surprise tulifukuzwa na huyo videographer wangu because people embrace it differently, it is not easy” reminisced Lukresia.
The now famous nurse disclosed her earlier predicament to Mungai Eve in a recent online engagement.It depicts her determination and zeal to excel in making faces lighten up no matter the setbacks.
The ordeal made her wonder how renowned street dancer, Moya David carries out his surprises with ease, she had to push on and perfectly she did.
“Mpaka nakumbuka tulikaanga chini nikauliza huyo videographer ‘Kwani Moya David anafanyanga aje, how does he do his surprises? Because mimi ilikuwa inakuwa ngumu nilitense for the first time but as time went by i just found my courage” revealed Lukresia.
Wanted To Become A Doctor
Lukresia’s dream was to become a doctor but her efforts were dashed with lower grades which couldn’t guarantee her a slot in becoming one.She had to settle for nursing which she embraced wholeheartedly.
She also made it known that it’s through bursary that she has been able to pursue her education after her mother – her only parent, died a few years ago.
“Before she actually passed on alikuwa ameapply bursary yenye ilinisomesha from form one to form four”she stated.

Being in a mission school also played a critical role in her inception to college as it supported needy students like her.
Journey To Stardom
Her video entertaining a sick child from a hospital bed shot her into glory, making her an instant celebrity with many praising her deeds.
She reaveled that she wasn’t expecting much as she was only doing it out of love and her passion for her proffesion in the medical field.
Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya met and promised her a job once she clears her schooling at the Kitale Medical School.
She has also landed a fully sponsored trip to Zanzibar Islands courtesy of Expedition Maasai Safaris,Bonfire Adventures have also promised to treat her for a fully paid vacation.
The multi-talented nurse who also plays football and drums has advised youths not to give up in their talents as everyone is gifted differently.
