Bishop Allan Kiuna of Jubilee Christian Church (JCC) says he was successfully treated for cancer in 2018.
Taking to Twitter, the city televangelist said that he went through a tough battle with the disease last year and was lucky to overcome it.
“Am so grateful to God for having seen me through a difficult battle with cancer last year. My heart goes out to the families of all who have lost their loved ones to the scourge,” he wrote.
Bishop Kiuna condoled with the families and friends of the late Bomet Governor Joyce Laboso and Kibra Member of Parliament Ken Okoth.
“We are praying for God’s strength in your hour of grief. May God comfort the family of Gov. Laboso. And May God comfort the family of Hon. Ken Okoth. We are praying for you for God’s grace in your hour of grief,” said Kiuna.
Both Governor Laboso and Okoth passed away after battling cancer for a long time. Bishop Kiuna took a sabbatical last year to seek treatment abroad.
