The father of murdered business woman, Monica Kimani, has shed some light on what she was like as a child.
Paul Ngarama gave an interview on YouTube and spoke about how Monica always desired the best.
“In primary school, I did not have money but she always insisted on being taken to the best schools,” Ngarama told the YouTube channel.

At the time, Monica’s dad was working in a kinyozi and he did not have a well paying job. However, he says that did not stop him from getting the best for her.
After all, Monica was super sharp.
“As the only daughter, I loved her so much and I would listen to what she wants and give her,” Ngarama said.
He added,
“She was a hardworking and successful lady and before her death, she bought a car for her mum and would work extra hard to take care of us.
That dream came to a screeching halt when Monica was found murdered.
The grieving father described Monica as a go-getter.
“Monicah after her studies, she came to Southern Sudan where I was and asked me to connect her with internship which was impossible but we did our best and she succeeded. She did it for three months after which she the got a tender with UAP towers, the tallest building and that is how she earned her money,” he said.
The 28-year-old businesswoman was found by her brother killed and her body dumped in her posh apartment on September 19, 2019.

Monica’s throat had been slit, ear to ear, hand bound and mouth gagged.
Her body was dumped in the bath tab and the water left running.
She was found with her hands tied behind her back, her throat having been slit from ear to ear.
The main suspect of her murder, Joseph ‘Jowie’ Irungu, was recently released on a cash bail of Ksh 2m or Ksh 3m bond after prosecution failed to produce evidence on why police need to detain him further.
