Gospel singer and soon to be ordained pastor Size 8 has described her life before salvation as ‘siku za shetani’ stating that back then she did things she would never consider doing now.
Among them is taking alcohol.
During a quickfire segment with Billy and Mbaruk of Radio Maisha, the mother of two said at the time her ego was inflated.
So inflated was it that it would never allow her to get drunk and call her ex,
‘I have never been drunk to an extent of calling my ex. My pride would not have allowed me.
My ego was as big as KICC.’
Speaking of the past, Size 8 narrated how she would sit and drink alone at a bar.
ALL I HAD DREAMED OFF WAS HAPPENING AND THAT IS WHEN I STARTED GETTING INTO DEPRESSION, I NEVER HAD REAL FRIENDS AND WAS UNDER PRESSURE TO PERFORM.
I WOULD GO SIT ALONE AT A BAR AND DRINK ALONE. MY RELATIONSHIPS WERE NOT WORKING.
MARK YOU, I HAD NEVER TAKEN ALCOHOL BEFORE.
IT’S THEN I THOUGHT OF THE HAPPY GIRL I WAS WHILE AT STATE HOUSE GIRLS, BACK THEN WHEN I WAS SAVED.
I JUST WANTED PEOPLE TO LOVE ME AS LINET AND NOT AS SIZE 8 AND WHAT SHE HAD TO OFFER.’
Asked on whether she has ever walked commando in the CBD, Size 8 responded,
‘Yes I would walk around bila ngotha, hizo enzi za shetani.’
