NAIROBI, Kenya, Mar 14 – India’s software company, Zoho Corporation, has expanded its presence to Kenya to tap the growing market.
The firm will open a new office and a state-of-the-art training center in Westlands, Nairobi.
The office, which is currently undergoing renovations, will be ready for operations in April.
The announcement was made on the sidelines of Zoholics Kenya, the company’s annual user conference.
“We are thrilled to open our new office in Kenya,” said Veerakumar Natarajan, Country Head for Kenya, Zoho Corp.
“We believe that our on-ground presence in Kenya will help us serve our customers in the country better. Zoho is committed to investing in local talent to provide the best possible service to its customers, this also reflects our strategy for business growth and expansion—transnational localism, in which we aim to be locally rooted while being globally connected.”
The new office’s training center, equipped with a high-tech video conference facility, can accommodate up to 40 attendees at any given time.
Through the facility, Zoho customers and partners will interact with 55+ business software solutions.
Over the past year, the Chennai-based company has experienced a substantial growth in Kenya, with a 48 percent increase in revenue and the number of employees.
Likwise, its partner network in the country grew 33 percent in 2022.
Some of its flagship products in the Kenya include Zoho One, Zoho CRM, Zoho Workplace, Zoho Desk, and its VAT- and TIMS-compliant applications—Zoho Books, Zoho Invoice, and Zoho Inventory.
Since the launch of the Zoho Africa Digital Enabler (ZADE) package last year, local businesses have expressed interest.
ZADE is designed to aid small businesses in achieving digital transformation at an affordable cost by equipping them with the same tools employed by large enterprises to manage their operations.
