The family of Felix Orinda alias DJ Evolve has dismissed reports that he is dead.
His father, James Orinda, in a video, on Tuesday said he was shocked to wake up to the news of his son’s death circulating on social media yet he was alive and well.
Orinda was last year in June discharged after spending six months in hospital after he was allegedly shot in the neck at a popular city club by Embakasi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino.
The MP was arrested but later released on a Ksh10 million cash bail. The matter is still in court.

The DJ underwent three major surgeries that left him incapacitated.
“ Am still shocked by the rumours. I don’t know who is peddling these lies… My son is doing well, he can sit alone for one hour without assistance” said Orinda while giving an update on his son’s health.

He appealed to Kenyans to continue praying for his full recovery.
