The mother of an interior design professional who controversially died at the home of Mr Lawrence Njuguna alias DJ Fatxo in February 2023 has spoken out on how she has been cleaning the gravesite of his son after every three days.
Ms Ann Wacuka said she usually does so because his son was very clean from his young days.
Currently, the deceased’s grave is constructed using a granite tombstone after it was re-buried following an exhumation process conducted by sleuths attached to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).
The exhumation process which was conducted on March 21, 2023, had been ordered by DCI boss Amin Mohamed following a public outcry over the circumstances in which he died.
In a YouTube video, the mother who is currently at her native home in Njoro Sub-County within Nakuru county said that she is also waiting to see how the police will handle the whole matter.
“I usually come to clean it after every three days because my only son was always a clean man ever since his young days,” she said adding that the son was also very tidy.
Ms Wacuka also said that she was patient with the DCI and the office of the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) Noordin Haji to finish the investigations and serve justice to her only kid.
In April 2023, the DCI boss issued a statement saying that the DCI had completed investigations into the cruel death of Mr Jeff.
In a tweet on its official page, DCI said the file has been forwarded to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) for advice on the preferred charges.
“The file is now complete and has been forwarded to the Director of Public Prosecutions this evening, for perusal and advice,” the agency said.
