Citizen TV’s Joey Muthengi recently took fans on a trip down memory lane by posting a picture taken years ago with Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka.
This was when she served as an intern at the Voice of America in Washington DC.

Joey was attached to the ‘TV to Africa’ department as a production assistant and also worked on the Radio Show ‘UpFront’ as a Research Assistant and Entertainment Reporter.
“There once was a hardworking young intern at Voice of America in Washington DC… Just found these while organizing my paperwork #TBT. I worked in the ‘TV to Africa’ Department as a Production Assistant then on the Radio Show ‘UpFront’ as a Research Assistant and Entertainment Reporter. I was the only African intern in my programme that year so Kitenge headscarves were a regular occurrence when I worked weekends.
