Journalist Moses Otieno Dola has been found guilty of manslaughter in the death of his wife Sarah Wambui Kabiru.
In convicting the accused, Justice Roseline Korir however computed the murder charge to that of manslaughter saying that although Moses Dola unlawfully caused the death of his wife, he did not intend to kill her.
Justice Roseline however ordered for the cancellation of Dola’s bond terms awaiting sentencing.
Seven years after Journalist Moses Otieno Dola denied the murder of his wife Sarah Wambui Kabiru at their home in Umoja Estate in Nairobi in 2011.

Justice Roseline directed the prosecution to prepare a pre-sentencing report ahead of the mention of the case on 26th October. In the meantime, Dola who risks being committed to life imprisonment will remain in custody after the court cancelled his bond terms.
Meanwhile, Migori Governor Okoth Obado has made an application before the high court seeking to be released on bail on medical grounds.
Obado who is admitted at the Kenyatta National Hospital argues that his medical condition has become worse since his detention at the Industrial Area Prison.
The prosecution is however against his release for fear that he could interfere with witnesses in the case where he is charged with the murder of university student Sharon Otieno.
Finally, a man has been arraigned in court for allegedly conning Kiambu Chief whip over 4 million shillings in a land deal.
John Gaiti who was appearing before Principal Magistrate Ann Maina faces 5 counts including altering false documents, obtaining money with false pretense, forgery of land transfer documents, conspiracy to obtain money using false pretense and false registration of title deed.
He denied the charge and was released on a 2 million shillings bond and a surety of similar amount.
