Justice Roseline directed the prosecution to prepare a pre-sentencing report ahead of the mention of the case on 26th October. In the meantime, Dola who risks being committed to life imprisonment will remain in custody after the court cancelled his bond terms.

Meanwhile, Migori Governor Okoth Obado has made an application before the high court seeking to be released on bail on medical grounds.

Obado who is admitted at the Kenyatta National Hospital argues that his medical condition has become worse since his detention at the Industrial Area Prison.

The prosecution is however against his release for fear that he could interfere with witnesses in the case where he is charged with the murder of university student Sharon Otieno.

Finally, a man has been arraigned in court for allegedly conning Kiambu Chief whip over 4 million shillings in a land deal.

John Gaiti who was appearing before Principal Magistrate Ann Maina faces 5 counts including altering false documents, obtaining money with false pretense, forgery of land transfer documents, conspiracy to obtain money using false pretense and false registration of title deed.
