A new case of Corona virus has been confirmed in Kenya bringing the total number of people infected to 4. This was confirmed by Mutahi Kagwe.
Confirming the case health CS, Mutahi Kagwe said,
‘The fourth corona virus victim traveled from London via United Kingdom on 8th/03/2020 arrived on 9th/03/2020
Trace for people who might have into contact with the person ongoing.’
The first case was confirmed when test on a woman who resides in Ongata Rongai turned positive.
Two of the four cases were of people who contracted the virus after coming into contact with Ongata Rongai woman.
27 people had been quarantined and that is when the two were tested positive.
The other 25 were tested negative. Confirmation was done at national influenza centre laboratory.
Those working are encouraged to work from home, In order to mitigate loss economic, cargo vessels can come into the country so long as they are disinfectant at the point of dispatch and the crew guaranteed
There will be Kenya after corona.
