Kenya has climbed one place to position 105 in the world according to the latest FIFA rankings released today by the World Football Governing body.
Kenya’s exemplary performance at the Africa cup of Nations qualifiers that saw Harambee Stars secure a place at next year’s continental finals contributed to the climb.
Kenya has 1210 points. Belgium sit at the top of the table in the latest FIFA rankings.
World champions France remain in position two while Brazil just pip World Cup finalists Croatia in third position.

England are 5th while Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal have moved a place up to position 6.
Senegal is the best side in Africa at position 23 in the world while Tunisia sits second on the continent and in position 26 in the world.
Surprisingly Morocco are third in Africa and 40th in the world, a record better than giants Nigeria who are 4th in Africa and 44th in the world.
Democratic Republic of are Congo 49th, Ghana 52nd, Cameroon 55th and Egypt 56th in the world.
Finally, Kenyan Premier League champions, Gor Mahia arrived in Accra Ghana last evening en-route to Nigeria where they will face hosts Lobi Stars in the CAF Champions League return leg match this Saturday.
Gor Mahia are expected to camp in Ghana for two days before leaving for Enugu on Friday to face Lobi stars in the return leg of the CAF Champions league match on Saturday.
KO’galo beat Lobi Stars 3-1 in the first leg encounter played in Nairobi last weekend and a draw will be enough to propel them to the group stage of the Continental tournament.
KO’galo will miss the services of Ernest Wendo who is suspended after being booked for the second time in the competition last Sunday at the Kasarani Stadium.
