Ferdinand Waititu endured hours of grilling at the Ethics and Anti- Corruption headquarters at the Integrity Center Nairobi.
Sources within EACC told your favourite Weekly Citizen that lawyers of the besieged governor have been in a frantic move to have him released today.
Sources further said that chances of having Waitititu released today are thin and could end up spending the whole weekend behind bar should he be denied bail when he appears in court tomorrow.
It’s against such fears that the lawyers want the governor released on a bail and possibly rendered a favorable date to appear in court of law.
The investigators are believed to have prepared concrete evidence against the governor before they conducted an early morning raid at his City homes.
