A report released by Google searches 2022 indicates that the death of former President Mwai Kibaki tops the general trending searches this year, coming second after the name of departed British monarch Queen Elizabeth II.
Kibaki breathed his last aged 90, his grave only filled with soil contrary to wider expectations that it would be tiled or cemented.
It’s the simplicity of his grave that moved Kenyans on social media who admiringly noted that the simplicity that Kibaki exuded in his life was replicated even in his death.
