According to FKF, Kimanzi will be assisted by Zedekiah Zico Otieno, while Lawrence Webo was named goalkeeper trainer and enos Kasana the fitness coach.

The federation announced it parted ways with Migne by mutual consent days after Stars were dumped out of CHAN 2020 by rivals Tanzania in the first round.

Meanwhile, the former Mathare United tactician recently announced his resignation from his former club revealing that he would be focusing all his efforts on the national level.

Kimanzi will be assisted by Zedekiah Zico Otieno, while Lawrence Webo was named goalkeeper trainer and enos Kasana the fitness coach.

“We laid a good foundation with ou former coach, qualifying for Afcon for the first time in 15 years,” Kimaznai said.

“This is a continuation of the good job we did, and we are looking forward to accomplishing our biggest challenge of getting the team back to AFCON 2021,” he said.

This will be Kimanzi’s third stint at the helm of affairs of the national team, having been appointed full-time manager of the team on December 11, 2008.

He would, however, be sacked almost a year later following Harambee Stars’ poor campaign in the 2008 Cecafa Senior Challenge Cup.

The tactician would later make a return in 2011 after a one-year spell at Sofapaka, lasting just six months after the country failed to qualify for the 2013 African Cup of Nations.
