Rapper King Kaka, real name Kennedy Ombima, has now recorded a statement with the police regarding his alleged summoning by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) which the State agency has since denied.
Kinga Kaka, an hour after appearing at the DCI headquarters where he emerged after 30 minutes, reported to the Muthaiga Police Station where he was issued with Occurrence Book (OB) number 42/17/12/19.

According to the ‘Wajinga Nyinyi’ hitmaker, his manager — Dennis Njenga — received a call from one Onyancha at 10:41am telling him they had been summoned.
“The person on the other end said ‘either you come to us or we come for you…we know where you are’,” said King Kaka, while addressing the press outside the DCI headquarters.
“We came here but have been told that the number is not working and doesn’t belong to the DCI.”
The George Kinoti-led team earlier however refuted reports of summoning the popular musician.

Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru on Monday threatened to take legal action against King Kaka, accusing him of defaming her using certain lyrics in the ‘Wajinga Nyinyi’ song.
According to the governor, the song contains references to her which are malicious and reckless with complete disregard of the loss or damage occasioned to her.
