After Weekly Citizen uncovered the scandal of the MCA representing Kapomboi ward in Trans Nzoia county on how he siphoned funds meant for roads, the MCA ran to a local radio station where he fried himself again more due to lack of knowledge.
Ben Wanjala also known as Mulipuko (explosion) did not know that he was frying himself on air when he was asked how many Early Childhood Development Education classes he had constructed since he was elected in 2017.
The unschooled MCA said he had constructed only two class from the Sh20,000 million which each MCA gets while other wards have better roads apart from bursary allocation from the same funds.

Through the MP’s personal assistant, they have written to the county government to allow them construct the roads that the MCA has found it difficult to tarmac. Several roads have worsened the daily transportation during this harvesting season.
“In 2017, Mulipuko himself planted banana trees along the Namanjalala-Kapsitwet roads but he has forgotten so he should accept the positive criticism and deliver the county services to citizens,’’ said the PA.
Other roads that have worsened include Matisi corner and Makutano-Chemususu roads.
Recently, it was claimed the MCA siphoned Sh4 million meant for roads. Mulipuko failed to defend himself on air as to where he went to school, which college he attended and the course he took.
The collection of signatures is ongoing in his ward to recall him. A similar exercise is also on in Saboti ward where residents want to recall the MCA Jeff Wambalaba, for what they yerm poor performance and luck of public participation
