– Leroy Sane has reportedly told his teammates at Manchester City that he wants to join Bayern Munich
– It was even claimed that the Germany international has agreed personal terms with Bayern
– But Manchester City are still trying to convince the 23-year-old winger to stay at the Etihad stadium
Manchester City winger Leroy Sane has reportedly told his teammates at the Etihad Stadium that he wants to join German giants Bayern Munich.
Since the end of 2018/19 Premier League season, Leroy Sane has been linked with a move away from the reigning Premier League champions.
Pep Guardiola’s side are reported to be aware of Bayern Munich’s interest to sign Leroy Sane this summer and therefore slapped massive £145m price tag on the player.
But according to The Athletic, Germany international Leroy Sane has already made up his mind not to play for Manchester City again.
And he told his teammates that he wants to leave the Citizens for a return to Germany.
Although Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola wants the 23-year-old winger to stay at the Etihad, he says the decision rests with Sane.
Sane’s agent is now believed to have thrashed out a package of around £16.6m-a-year in wages (nearly £320,000-a-week) with Bayern Munich
Three years ago, Leroy Sane joined Manchester City from Schalke in a deal which was reported to be £37m.
Earlier, TUKO.co.ke had reported how Manchester City reportedly slapped a staggering £145 million price tag on star winger Leroy Sane amid Bayern Munich’s interest.
The German League champions are hopeful of landing the 23-year-old before the end of this transfer window after the departure of both Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery last season.

Barcelona president confident Clasico will take place
Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu said on Thursday the Clasico against Real Madrid next week will not be postponed again, amid renewed fears of unrest around the fixture.
Protestors from the Catalan separatist movement, Democratic Tsunami, have called for a “massive” protest outside Camp Nou, where Barcelona are due to play against Real Madrid in La Liga on December 18.
Spain’s most prestigious fixture was originally scheduled for October 26 but had to be postponed following a wave of pro-independence demonstrations in the city.
“I can say that the Clasico will be played, it will not be postponed again,” Bartomeu said at a Christmas press event in Barcelona.
“It is everyone’s responsibility to ensure it goes ahead. We know that we live in a complicated period in Catalonia but that can be compatible with sport.
“Our stadium is a place for free expression, it always has been, and that is why we want to send out a message of normality and calm.
“The club is preparing for the Clasico with complete normality and we tell our fans to come with their family and friends.
“Together we have to deliver a Clasico that is a celebration of sport and of people. We want peace and calm.”
Democratic Tsunami have urged protestors to gather at four points around Camp Nou from 4:00 pm (1800 EAT), four hours before kick-off.
“In an exceptional situation, we should act in an exceptional way,” said a statement from the group on Tuesday.
The rally is the latest in a series of demonstrations that began two months ago when Spain’s top court jailed nine Catalan separatist leaders over their role in a failed 2017 bid for independence.
Manchester United vs AZ Alkmaar: Red Devils record impressive 4-0 home win ▷ Kenya News
– Manchester United vs AZ Alkmaar’s Europa League tie ended 4-0 in favor of Red Devils
– The Premier League side however finished as leaders in Group L with 13 points
– Mason Greenwood scored a brace, while Juan Mata and Ashley Young also scored each
Manchester United on Thursday night, December 12, recorded impressive 4-0 win over visiting AZ Alkmaar in their final group game in the 2019/20 Europa League campaign.
The win means Manchester United finished as Group L leaders with 13 points winning four games, lost one and drew another.
But Manchester United had to wait till the second half for them to score their goals against AZ Alkmaar who were superb in the first half.
AZ Alkmaar also wanted to win at Old Trafford so as for them to finish the Group as leaders.
They had the first chance to score in the 11th minute through Oussama Idrissi who got a nice pass from Calvin Stengs, but he failed to beat Sergio Romero.
Manchester United however scored their first goal in the 53rd minute through Ashley Young, and five minutes later, Mason Greenwood increased the scoreline for the Red Devils.
Juan Mata scored the third goal for Manchester United in the 62nd minute before Mason Greenwood netted the winner in the 64th minute as Red Devils won 4-0.
Rashford’s steady rise from a young starlet to Manchester United’s talisman is setting a similarity line between the England international and club legend Cristiano Ronaldo.
The 22-year-old star produced a man of the match performance against rivals Manchester City with a brilliant goal.
Interestingly, the game against Pep Guardiola’s men was not the only match Rashford would put in a messianic brilliance for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s struggling side.

President Uhuru warning to civil servants during Jamuhuri celebrations | Tuko TV:
Is Hamilton on his way to Ferrari?
Ferrari chief executive officer Louis Camilleri said Thursday that it was premature to talk about a possible move of six-time world champion Lewis Hamilton to the Italian team.
Camilleri confirmed that Mercedes driver Hamilton has had “conversations” with Ferrari chairman John Elkann, but not with him nor Team Principal Mattia Binotto.
“It is common knowledge that Lewis has had conversations with (Elkann),” Camilleri told reporters at Ferrari headquarters at Maranello.
“(But) that was a little exaggerated. While it was at a social event, they have mutual friends,” said Camilleri, adding that “it would be premature to decide anything today.”
The 34-year-old Hamilton, who comes to the end of his Mercedes contract next season, will be bidding for a record-equalling seventh world title in 2020.
Meanwhile, Camilleri pointed out that Ferrari have a “long-term agreement” with Charles Leclerc, the 22-year-old driver from Monaco who joined the team in 2015 and is under contract until the 2022 season.
Leclerc is the junior driver to four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel, whose contract at Ferrari ends after the 2020 season.
“We need to see both the performances, the way he adapts to the car (for the 2020 season) and his motivation for the future,” said Binotto of 32-year-old Vettel.
“It’s not about whether he’ll make mistakes or not,” he continued, “it’s really about how he sees his future and how we see our team.”
But 2021 will in any case be “too early” for one of the young drivers to move up from the Ferrari Driver Academy, the Italian said.
“It will be important to have drivers with some (Formula One) experience because the cars will be completely new,” added Binotto.
Among these is 20-year-old Mick Schumacher, son of Ferrari legend Michael, who finished 12th in his first season in Formula 2.
“We’re expecting a lot from him next year because he’ll have a season behind him and we’re pretty sure he is a good candidate for F1 in the future,” added Binotto.
“Will he be a good candidate for Ferrari? It really is to early to say.”
