The move follows a shooting incident on Thursday morning, which sparked chaotic confrontations.
A police officer from the station is accused of shooting Lazarus Tirop for allegedly flouting COVID-19 regulations.
The incident sparked protests that led to the shooting of two more residents and torching of the house of the police boss at Lessos Police Station.
The Independent Policing Oversight Authority (IPOA) has launched investigations into the alleged fatal shooting.
IPOA Chairperson Anne Makori said the Authority will make appropriate recommendations if culpability is established.
Irate area residents claim the police accosted a physically challenged man who works as a cobbler in Lessos trading centre and shot him dead under unclear circumstances.
According to the locals, the officers attached to the station have been demanding bribes and harassing locals while implementing Covid-19 regulations.
