Since the start of the quarantine period, a number of Kenyan artists realized they had a void to fill in the entertainment scene, and actually went ahead and did that.
The thirst for shows and concerts by Kenyans is always insatiable and given a chance they would party for the rest of their lives.
After realizing they needed more than new releases from their favorite artists, Kenyans demanded for live concerts.
A few artists heeded to their calls, got out of their comfort zones and gave show stopping performances, which left us yearning for more.
In the process, a few brands held their hands and channeled in a few chums their way as a motivating factor.
Some of the show stopping live concerts that Kenyans are still talking about are from; Kidum, Mike Rua, Khaligraph, Sauti Sol, Nyashinski, Juliani, Akothee among others.
However, going back to our insatiable point, Kenyans are grateful for such artists but now they want more performances but first, from other top artists who are yet to give us any signs.
The last couple weeks we have seen a couple of artists drop new albums, among them; Otile Brown, Arrow Bwoy, and Size 8 who is about to drop one soon.
That said, I feel like among other artists, these are the ones who should be having that sort of conversation. I mean, imagine a full live concert of covering an entire album. Who would mind that?
Below is a list of artists whom I strongly think should quench our musical thirst and give us live concerts ASAP!
