Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker was sent off as the Reds secured yet another win in a nervy 2-1 triumph over Brighton and Hove Albion at Anfield.
Virgil Van Dijk scored two first half headers as Lewis Dunk scored a free-kick shortly after Alisson Becker was sent off.

Roberto Firmino forced a fine save from Matt Ryan as Liverpool were asking the questions early in the match.
But Van Dijk scored the Reds first goal in the 18th minute via a set-piece from Trent Alexander-Arnold to make it 1-0.
Ryan saved another effort from Firmino after a lovely assist from Mane, and less than a minute later the Australian was on hand make another with his foot from the Senegalese striker.
It was a set-piece exhibition when Van Dijk completed his brace in the same manner with the first goal as he delivered a powerful header from another Alexander-Arnold’s corner kick in the 24th minute to make it 2-0.
Liverpool came out as the stronger side in the second half but Alisson Becker was shown a straight red card after the Brazilian handled Trossard’s ball outside the box.
Brighton got themselves back into the match after Dunk caught substitute goalkeeper Adrian unawares with a free kick to make it 2-1 with 11 minutes left to play.
Liverpool were made to work hard to earn all three points and Adrian had to make three saves before the final whistle as it ended 2-1 at Anfield.
