Malindi OCPD Matawa Muchangi has died.
Muchangi died at Mombasa Hospital on Sunday night where he had been admitted the previous day.
“Police death is normal like everybody else’s,” Coast police boss Marcus Ochola said.
Reports indicate that he had suffered from a heart problem for some time.
“He had been a good officer. We condole with his family,” Ochola said.
He said a more comprehensive statement will be issued later.
