A man was arraigned at the Kibera Law Courts after he allegedly slapped a minor using a panga.
The accused person, Jackson Ochieng who appeared before the Kibera Law Courts is accused of beating up his victim identified as DO after he picked him up from his mother’s workplace.
The prosecution told court that the accused person Ochieng assaulted the minor and abandoned him after accusing him of stealing his motorcycle lights.
He was rescued by a well-wisher who took him home.
“He took the minor from his mother’s workplace and later drove him towards the By-pass before beating him up and abandoning him there,” the prosecution informed the court.
Guilty On Plea
The accused pleaded guilty to the charges and begged the court to show him mercy.
In his defence, he told the court that he committed the offence out of anger.
