A 25-year-old man is reported to have committed suicide at Kamakori village, Asego Sub-location in Homa Bay Town constituency following an alleged domestic quarrel with his wife.
Confirming the incident, the Senior Assistant Chief of Asego Sub-location, Mr.Tom Ondiek, said the body of the deceased identified as Peter Odhiambo was found hanging on a sisal rope from the roof of his house.
The deceased is suspected to have taken his own life due to constant domestic quarrels with his wife and his neighbours.
One of the neighbours had threatened to report him to the area chief for disturbing them by constantly playing loud music in his rental house.
The body was taken to Homa Bay County Teaching and Referral Hospital pending further investigations.
