A man was on Tuesday evening arrested after he was apprehended stealing at the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) headquarters.
Wilson Muinde, 35, is said to have been busted attempting to steal a spare wheel from a vehicle that was parked outside the headquarters.
“Mr Wilson Kithome Muinde aged 35 years was arrested yesterday and arraigned in court today for attempting to steal a spare wheel from a vehicle parked outside the (DCI) Headquarters,” read a statement posted on social media.

Elsewhere, the DCI also arrested three senior officials who were found in possession of thousands of fake Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) stamps.
The trio were at an alcoholic drink maker located in Thika where DCI officials confiscated several cartoons of unaccustomed alcoholic spirits.
Phrabhu Sethu (36), Kennedy Ng’ang’a Gitau (30), and Shadrack Mutinda Muinde (26) were later presented before the Thika Law Courts and charged with tax evasion among other counts.
