Mathare stun Gor as Stima comeback to beat Bandari 3-1

Defending champions Gor Mahia suffered their first defeat of the 2019-2020 Kenyan Premier League season after losing to Mathare United by a solitary goal in Machakos.

Gor Mahia, who had won all their opening five matches, conceded the lone goal in the 88^th minute of the game as they missed out on a chance to leapfrog Tusker at the top of the table.

Mathare United’s substitute Daniel Otieno scored the late winner.

The three points moved Mathare United from 9^th position to 6^th on the table.

Western Stima also came from behind to beat Bandari 3-1 in the other match played in Kisumu.

Stima moves up to 7^th on the table while Bandari sit remain in 12^th position.
