In Summary
•Mbappe has shown interest in the gunners
•Real Madrid also keen on signing Mbappe
•The offer of the century could possibly fail
Kyllian Mbappe has received an offer which would see him earn a stunning €1billion (£865m) over the next 10 years, with clubs like Manchester United, Arsenal and Real Madrid competing for him.
Mbappe put several of Europe’s biggest teams on alert in June by revealing he would not be activating the option to extend his Paris Saint-Germain contract from 2024 to 2025.
As PSG have no intention of letting him leave on a free transfer next year, they have told the forward he must agree on an entirely new contract in the coming weeks or he will be sold.
Carlo Ancelotti’s Madrid are widely viewed as Mbappe’s most likely next destination. Their president, Florentino Perez, has repeatedly tried to sign him in the past and will stop at nothing to get him this summer. Perez views the French captain as the perfect replacement to Karim Benzema .
Although, Madrid could face competition from Premier League clubs for Mbappe. Should Sheikh Jassim complete his big-money takeover of Man United, then the Red Devils would potentially have the money to battle Madrid for the colossal signing. PSG have set Mbappe’s price tag at €200m (£173m).
It recently emerged that if Mbappe were to move to England, his preferred destination would be Arsenal. This is because he has been impressed by what Mikel Arteta has done at the Emirates, while he would also enjoy the challenge of helping Arsenal win the Prem title once again.
Rumours emerging suggest that PSG are willing to go to extraordinary measures to prevent the 24-year-old from joining another club before next season.
It is claimed they have drawn up the ‘offer of the century’ for Mbappe. It is an incredible 10-year contract worth £865m. Should Mbappe sign it, then he would become one of the best-paid athletes of all time

The claims also prove the ‘desperation’ going on at PSG. They believe keeping Mbappe will be crucial to them winning their first Champions League and would therefore hate to see him leave for another European club.
Massive PSG offer may still fail
While this is clearly an incredible amount of money, it would be very surprising if Mbappe agreed to the deal. A 10-year contract would essentially mean him giving the rest of his career to PSG, without being able to force through a transfer elsewhere.
And it is widely known that Mbappe wants to follow in the footsteps of his idol, Cristiano Ronaldo, by one day becoming Madrid’s lucky charm. Such a move would also help the 2018 World Cup winner pick up his first Ballon d’Or. Indeed, 12 of the last 13 winners of the award been playing for either Madrid or Barca at the time.
It seems PSG will have to start preparing for life without Mbappe. They recently attempted to land Harry Kane as a replacement, but he has snubbed their advances and hopes to join Bayern from Tottenham instead.
