LeBron James joined the Los Angeles Lakers in 2018 after playing for the Miami Heat and Cleveland Cavaliers teams.
James started playing basketball while still in grade school, proceeding to play in high school before being drafted into the NBA. He has won several championships and been named Most Valuable Player (MVP) on a number of occasions. Many now consider him to be one among the greatest basketball players of all time.
Basketball aside, 6ft 9in James married his high school sweetheart, Savannah Brinson, in September 2013 and together they have three children.
James is very keen on giving back to his community. Born of a single mother, he didn’t have much growing up. As such, he supports various causes. He set up The LeBron James Family Foundation to help improve education for kids in his hometown of Akron, Ohio.
