Canada – based barrister Miguna Miguna has surprisingly welcomed Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi’s support after the MP vowed to up efforts to bring him back to the country.

Miguna, who has been away from the country well over a year now, took to his vocal Twitter page where he fully endorsed Sudi’s attack on the so-called Team Kieleweke.

Sudi, as TUKO.co.ke reported, maintained Deputy President William Ruto’s assassination claims as he vowed to keep fighting against acts of impunity against leaders affiliated to President Uhuru Kenyatta.

While ranting against the DP’s perceived enemies, Sudi brought in Miguna as he claimed the barrister should fully be allowed to re-acess the country, something which seemingly left him fluttered.

“All Kenyans including Oscar Sudi have absolute rights and duties to defend the Constitution, fight against those subverting the Constitution and protect democracy and rule of law. They don’t need my permission to do so. And it doesn’t matter that they supported despots yesterday.,” Miguna tweeted.

The message might have been played down a touch, but it was still interesting particularly because Miguna was siding with the very leaders he used to refer to as despots when the country’s political temperatures were at an all time high.

Miguna was expected to return to the country in April 2019 after the court declared him a Kenyan citizen..

He went on to write a letter to Kenya National Commission on Human Rights (KNCHR) requesting them to facilitate his return, although it never came to pass.

On why he is yet to return to the country, Miguna has blamed it on the government whom he claims are still frustrating his efforts.

Netizens were also briefly entertained when Miguna urged one of his loyal fans to take action against the “despots” rather than simply urging him on via social media.

“Stop spectating. Stop hiding under your bed. Stand up, get out and fight for freedom. Freedom is not like an apple that falls from the tree,” he wrote.
