Paul Pogba’s Agent Mino Raiola had a three-month worldwide ban from football activity suspended by the court of Arbitration for sport after he filed an appeal.
Raiola was initially suspended by Fifa for a period of three months in Italy only, before he had the ban extended to a worldwide sanction.
Aside from the Frenchman, Raiola handles high-profile clients including Ajax defender Matthijs de Ligt, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Mario Balotelli and Moise Kean among other superstars.
According to BBC the ban allows Raiola to resume activities outside Italy as he awaits a final decision from Cas scheduled for the beginning of July.
Now that Raiola is back in business, it boosts Manchester United’s hopes of keeping Pogba as it would lock out his former club Juventus as a potential destination.
Reports from Turin suggest Bianconeri could want their formidable midfielder back and may even release five players to fund United;s KSh 17.5 billion (£135 million) price tag.
And with Max Allegri out and the club charting new waters, a lot of movement is expected in the summer transfer window.
However United aren’t out of the woods yet, as Real Madrid are keen on signing the Frenchman with Zinedine Zidane believed to be intent on having him join Los Blancos.
And rarely do Madrid miss their target as is evident with new recruit and former Chelsea talisman Eden Hazard.
According to Sun UK, Marca claim Zidane has told club President Florentino Perez, he has no interests in Tottenham;s Christian Eriksen and instead wants Pogba.
The only thing standing in the two frenchmen reuniting is Manchester United’s price tag on the 2018 World Cup winner.
Raiola could favour a move but the decision remains Manchester United’s, but the same report by Marca indicates that Pogba is even willing to get a pay cut to leave his boyhood club.
Pogba will be itching to lift another major club with Manchester United not having won the league since his return from Juventus.
