Patrick Hinga who was rescued by his school mate, Wanja Mwaura, from a life of drug addiction was buried on March 22, 2019.
Friends and family gathered at Kenyatta University mortuary at 8:30 am and thereafter headed to Ruai where he was buried.
Wanja thanked everyone who has helped her in this journey.
She wrote on her Facebook.
“I want to take this opportunity to thank you all for your support during that trying time we had over the passing on of Hinga. Thank you all for standing with me on this. Many of you are asking what really happened and I think this tribute his mother gave answers to most of your questions if not all. Take time n Listen to it. God bless u all.”

Hinga’s mother, Nancy Wanjiru, gave a touching tribute of his journey with fighting drug addiction.
