Kabeberi Sevens champions Mwamba RFC have been paired with hosts Kisumu, Northern Suburbs and Resolution Impala Saracens for the Dala 7s, the third leg of the Nations Sevens Circuit scheduled for August 10-11 at the Mamboleo Showground in Kisumu.
Last year’s Dala runners up Menengai Cream Homeboyz are in Pool D alongside Kakamega Sevens champions KCB RFC, varsity side Blak Blad and the Kabeberi Sevens Division Two runners- up Vihiga Granites.
Pool B consists of Kabeberi Sevens runners up Menengai Oilers who are joined by varsity sides Masinde Muliro University and Strathmore Leos plus the invitational side Western Bulls who missed the second leg last weekend in Meru.
Kabeberi bronze medalist Top Fry Nakuru RFC highlights Pool C alongside Nondescripts RFC, varsity side Mean Machine and Kabras Sugar RFC who also returns to the circuit after missing Kabeberi Sevens last weekend.
Mwamba RFC tops the series with 39 points after the first two legs, two points ahead of Kakamega champions KCB RFC.
Defending circuit champions Menengai Cream Homeboyz are third tied with Mitch Ochola’s charges with 32 points.
A Kabeberi Sevens finalist Menengai Oilers closes the top five list with 27 points.
