Nepal got an unassailable 2-0 lead in the 3-match One Day International Series against Kenya following a 17-run win over their hosts at the Nairobi Gymkhana Grounds.
After winning the toss, Nepal opted to bat and were all out on 230 runs after 49.2 overs. Rohit Kumar Paudel top-scored for the visitors with 78 runs while opener Dev Khanal added 37.
Vraj Patel and Shem Ngoche took two wickets each.
Kenya was unsuccessful in their run chase as they were bowled out with 213 runs after 46.3 overs. Rakep Patel was topped Kenya’s scores with 81 runs while Nelson Odhiambo had 28 runs.
Dipendra Singh Airee took 4 wickets while strike bowler Sompal Kami took 3. The third and final one-day match will be played on Monday at the Nairobi Gymkhana.
