The album will feature music from the upcoming Wakanda Forever movie.

Marvel Entertainment is scheduled to release a new album for the upcoming Black Panther sequel, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The new album called Wakanda Forever: Prologue will feature music from the film including the song heard in the film’s trailer released early morning on Sunday.

The album is scheduled for release sometime on Monday but the pre-save option is available for the Spotify, Apple Music and Deezer platforms.

Despite the fact that the full soundtrack details have yet to be released, we can surmise, at least from the trailer, that American rapper Kendrick Lamar will play some role in the curation of the music. Kendrick Lamar curated and produced the soundtrack to the first Black Panther film, which featured SZA, Travis Scott, the Weeknd, Future, James Blake, Swae Lee, and others.

The first Black Panther film was released in 2018 to critical acclaim and financial success. In early 2019, the film took home 3 Oscar awards including Best Original Score, Best Costume Design and Best Production Design before the death of Chadwick Boseman who played The Black Panther character in August 2019.

The sequel is scheduled for a worldwide release on November 11th.
