Man United chiefs have reportedly commenced plans for future without Paul Pogba after the Frenchman revealed interest in seeking a new challenge elsewhere.
According to The Mirror report, Pogba’s exit from Old Trafford this summer would leave United short of quality midfield options, with Les Bleus ace appears to have his heart set on a move to Real Madrid, in the new season.
Club boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is eager to return United to the top four next campaign, signing £18m-rated Daniel James from Swansea City, with other midfield stars like Adrien Rabiot, Youri Tielemans, Bruno Fernandes and Philippe Coutinho also linked with Red Devils.

Additional report from Spanish online newspaper Sport hinted Neymar is also on Man United wish list after a recent comment from PSG president Nasser Al Khelaifi.
Despite not calling out Neymar directly, the club chief utterances suggested he was referencing to the Brazilian superstar, while speaking about the new direction he wants at PSG.
“The players must assume their responsibilities,” Al Khelaifi was quoted as saying to France Football.
“Things have to be completely different, they will have to do more, work more. They are not here to have fun, and if they do not agree, the doors are open, Ciao!”

“I do not want any more star behavior,”he summed up.
Meanwhile, the Red Devils may not be involved with Champions League football next season, but could afford Neymar’s transfer fee and pay his wages.
Earlier, Tuko.co.ke had reported that Man United were ready to break the bank to keep their star man Paul Pogba at Old Trafford by offering him a bumper new deal.
The France international has been linked with a move to Real Madrid and the Frenchman did little to confirm his exit from Old Trafford this summer.
