Gor Mahia FC will lack the services of striker Dennis Oliech and Ugandan defender Shafik Batambuze when they take on Egypt’s Zamalek in a Group ‘D’ CAF Confederations Cup match this Sunday.
‘Kogallo’ are in Cairo to face the Egyptian giants in a must-win match but Coach Hassan Oktay will be without Dennis Oliech who is out injured and Ugandan defender Shafik Batambuze who is serving a ban.
The 1-0 defeat in the hands of Hussein Dey at the Juillet stadium, saw Gor Mahia lose their spot at the top of the Group while Zamalek’s 1-0 away win over Petro Atletico of Angola, threw the group’s qualification for the quarter-finals wide open with two matches to go.
The top two teams in the group will progress to the next round.
