One person has lost his life following Shekinah Pentecostal Church raid that occurred today morning at 5am.
The suspected thugs stormed the church and attacked worshipers including church pastor before making away with an unknown amount of money and other church instruments.
According to Edward Ouko area resident the deceased was stabbed by gang outside the church as they tried to escape .
‘‘It was 5am,these thugs stormed the church and stabbed worshipers who were in kesha before killing this guy who was just passing nearby…they stabbed him before escaping as church guards tried to pursue them.’’ Ouko told Ghetto Radio News.
The worshipers and the pastor are currently nursing injuries in various hospitals .
Area residents have now called on police to speed up the investigation and bring the perpetrators to book.
‘‘We have a police station in Makongeni, they should tighten night patrols to prevent robberies in this area , its a shame to see thugs attack a congregation stab them and even make away with the valuables.’’ They said.
Meanwhile the church guards has recorded statement with the police as investigations gains momentum.
