Owner of collapsed school arrested, to appear in court : The Standard

The owner of a private school that collapsed and killed eight pupils and injured 64 others was Thursday arrested as the probe into the issue continues.  

Mr Moses Wainaina was locked up at the Kabete Police Station ahead of his presentation in court for miscellaneous application.
Police intend to ask the court on Friday to hold him as probe into the matter goes on. They intend to prefer among other charges causing death.
His wife Freshia was being sought too. Other officials from the Nairobi City County’s planning department will be “dealt” with next week, an official aware of the probe said.
A post mortem on the bodies was conducted at the City Mortuary.
Director of Public Prosecutions Noordin Haji and Director of Criminal Investigations George Kinoti visited the scene of Precious Talent School as part of the ongoing probe.
The pupils died on Monday when their classrooms collapsed.
