Police in Nairobi have nabbed 267 KG of Bhang with an estimated street value of Ksh. 5.6 Million.
The bhang which had been packed in a Toyota Probox Registration Number KBW 512C was intercepted by Starehe Based Police Officers in Kisumu Ndogo area.
Police say owner of the vehicle fled on foot and abandoned the car and the bhang.
“The hard drug which was in 2,732 loose rolls has since been handed over to the Anti-Nacortics Unit for safe custody & the vehicle detained,” the police said.
The Toyota Probox is registered in the of Mr. Polycarp Otieno Aduda.
Police say they are pursuing the driver of the car.
