As political leaders gather together for Mombasa BBI rally a large crowd arrived in Mombasa so as to listen to their leaders concerning BBI.
This comes days after supporters of DP agreed to the BBI forum and said ther will attend to the future meeting.
Because they have not been attending to the meetings which took place in Kisii county and Kakamega county rallies.
Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru and Coast leaders arrived for the BBI rally at Mama Ngina Waterfront Park on Saturday.
Matatu operators on Friday offered free transport to the venue, the rally was supposed to take place at Tononoka grounds but ODM leader Raila Odinga changed the venue due to some security reasons.
Earlier this week DP allies said they will support the BBI agendas and rallies where necessary starting with Mombasa rally.
“After consultations as leaders… we will participate and, where necessary, take charge of these public rallies beginning with Mombasa this weekend,” Mukromen said on Tuesday.
Murkomen said they will support existing efforts and complement the already scheduled rallies.
Mombasa governor Hassan Joho will be expected to lead the rally.
This week Joho and his counterparts said that the rally is for the people of Mombasa and no one is expected to interfere with the rally.
Also expected are DP William Ruto allies. They include Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen, Susan Kihika (Nakuru senator), Moses Kuria (Gatundu South MP), Alice Wahome (Kandara MP) and Mohamed Ali (Nyali MP).
