The season’s curtain raiser slated for Sunday, August 4, when runners up Liverpool face League champions Manchester City in the Community Shield.
Newly promoted Norwich will face current Champions League winners Liverpool in a baptism of fire on Friday, August 9.

Tottenham face newly promoted side Aston Villa, but equally face a tricky start as they will have Manchester City and Arsenal to face in their first four games.
Liverpool and Chelsea will clash in the Uefa Super Cup on Wednesday, August 14, few days after the opening weekend encounters.
