A class two pupil from Donholm Primary school is currently battling for her life in ICU after her organs were damaged when she was run over by a school van last week on Friday.
The seven year old girl was run over by a privately contracted van right outside Donholm Primary School’s gate.
The driver allegedly after running over the child, picked her up, put her in the van with the injuries and continued dropping other pupils.
He apparently did not bother to take the child to the hospital immediately after running over her.
The child was only taken to Gertrude’s Hospital after other pupils informed their parents that their friend was injured and was bleeding in the car.
The child’s internal organs were damaged and has been in ICU since Friday.
