Kenya High Commission office in UK was alerted to give NASA leader Raila Odinga a high-stake reception when he arrived in London for a 4- day visit.
The opposition Chief was among the key speakers at the Chatham House on the Legacy of former UN Secretary General the late Dr. Kofi Annan.
Weekly Citizen has established that the tour was well coordinated between the Ministry of foreign affairs, office of the President and the office of Raila Odinga.
The organizers of the event hosted by Dr. Kofi Annan Foundation had requested the Kenyan government to present a key personality to speak about Annan’s legacy, largely due to the mediation role he played in Kenya during the 2007 disputed presidential election won by Mwai Kibaki and which was contested by Odinga.
